Public Tours
Discover the story of us—past and present.
The Institute of Human Origins (IHO) at Arizona State University invites the public to explore the science of human evolution through guided tours of our facility. Step behind the scenes to see how researchers study fossils, ancient tools, and other evidence that reveals our shared history.
What You’ll Experience:
• Guided Facility Tour – Walk through our labs and research spaces while learning about cutting-edge investigations into human origins.
• View a life-size reconstruction of our famous ancestor ‘Lucy,' and marvel at her complete skeletal reconstruction.
Public tours are designed for all ages and curiosity levels, making them perfect for families, community groups, or anyone fascinated by archaeology, anthropology and human evolution.
How to schedule:
Tours are offered by appointment. Please contact Aubree Morrissey to request information on scheduling a tour of our IHO facilities.
