The Elizabeth H. Harmon Research Endowment is a memorial to Elizabeth, who received her PhD from ASU in 2005 and had begun a successful scientific career at CUNY Hunter College but passed away in 2009.

It was established by Frank and Judy Harmon to fund research efforts of IHO-affiliated graduate students.

So far, it has assisted three graduate students, Terry Ritzman, Amy Shapiro, and Benjamin Schoville in their research.
