Becoming Human

The Institute of Human Origins has made a commitment to science education, and the creation of our "Webby" award-winning and American Association for the Advancement of Science approved website, BecomingHuman.org, is one of the ways IHO has been providing paleoanthropological topics for online users of all ages.

IHO is dedicated to building and supporting a K–12 program intended to reach out to young minds whose interest in the human career may be sparked by scientist-led programs in the schools. There are great resources, online videos, and a timeline of human origins on the Becoming Human website, so click in and join the fun!

To learn more about what science and research ASU has to offer, visit the award-winning Chain Reaction website (for grades 4–8) or Research Stories website, which include links to BecomingHuman.org and other information about anthropology and archaeology at ASU.

And stay tuned to upcoming improvements in the BecomingHuman.org website as it "evolves" to fully updated content and mobile accessibility.
